FALL SCHOLARSHIPS: Applications due by Oct. 13 at 4 p.m.

Parents' Association Scholarships are for students whose parents/families are members of OUPA

$1,000 General Scholarships (based on academic achievement, campus/community involvement, essay):
Sophomores - 2 awarded
Junior - 1 awarded
Senior - 1 awarded

$500 Scholarship Drawing
A random drawing (from the roster of current OUPA members with a full-time student enrolled) will be conducted at the fall OUPA meeting

$1,000 Essay Scholarship
Only students whose parents/families are members of OUPA are eligible. Freshmen may also apply for this award.

$1,000 Outstanding Student Father Award/Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time OU student who is also a dad.

SPRING SCHOLARSHIPS: (applications due February 2010 - application forms available in Dec. 2009)

$1,000 Recognition Scholarships for freshmen students whose parents are members - 3 awarded

$500 Scholarship Drawing
A random drawing (from the roster of current OUPA members with a full-time student enrolled) will be conducted at the fall OUPA meeting

$500 Essay Scholarship
The topic for an essay contest will be announced in August 2009. Only students whose parents/families are members of OUPA may participate

$1,000 Mary E. Heckendorn Outstanding Student Mother Award/Scholarship
Awarded to a full-time OU student who is also a mom.
