WANTED:
Oklahoma parents to serve as Area Vice Presidents on the Executive Committee!

What would I do as an Area Vice President?

You would serve as a parent representative in your community and other parents may contact you about your experiences of having a student attend OU. You would receive information about OU to have on hand to help answer any questions.

You volunteer to represent the Parents' Association at events such as Sooner Orientation Weekend, recruitment events, awards programs, etc.

You would also be asked to attend two meetings (if your schedule allows) during the year that are held in conjunction with Family Weekend and Parent's Weekend.

You would have input and voting privileges regarding the programs sponsored by the Association. You would interact with university administrators and serve as a sounding board for parents.
